For Selves and Others: A Portrait of Edward Said, director Emmanuel Hamon and his crew spent several weeks with Said and his family, shortly before his death in September 2003. The film is an intimate documentary that offers a glimpse at some of Said's final reflections on the themes that dominated his work.
