Following performances of the “Goldberg” Variations in the opening season and of the piano partitas in June 2018, Sir András Schiff continues his series of lecture concerts dedicated to the works of Bach. On four nights he explores another of the Baroque master’s iconic scores: the first part of the Well-Tempered Clavier. As in previous years, Schiff—who, since the 2018 winter semester, has been teaching at the Barenboim-Said Akademie—will offer his introductory talk in German and English.
