Sir András Schi­ff and the Staatskapelle Berlin continue their exploration of Johann Sebastian Bach’s orchestral works. The second solo part in two of the composer’s concertos for two pianos is taken on by Schaghajegh Nosrati. A winner of the 2014 Bach Competition in Leipzig, the young pianist has collaborated with Schi­ for several years and is well known to Pierre Boulez Saal audiences: In the 2018–19 season, she made an impressive last-minute solo debut, stepping in for Radu Lupu.
