Completed exactly 200 years ago, Bach’s Second Brandenburg Concerto has been traveling through the galaxy on a record on board the Voyager 2 space probe since 1977—it truly is music made for eternity. Sir András Schiff, one of today’s foremost performers of Bach, and the Staatskapelle Berlin continue their concert series exploring the composer’s works with his six celebrated ensemble concertos.
