Daniel Barenboim, Anne-Sophie Mutter & West-Eastern Divan Orchestra
Waldbühne Berlin Am Glockenturm, 14053 Berlin

Waldbühne Berlin Am Glockenturm, 14053 Berlin
Anne-Sophie Mutter most recently performed with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in the fall of 2019. For the orchestra’s 25th anniversary, the celebrated violinist—who was named an honorary member of the orchestra—now returns to perform at the 2024 open-air concert at Berlin’s Waldbühne, conducted by Daniel Barenboim. Mutter takes on the solo part in Johannes Brahms’s sublime Violin Concerto, which is followed by Schubert’s “Great” Symphony in C major in the second half of the program.
