After finishing his Bachelor of Music at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel-Aviv, Emmanuel Danan moved to Germany in order to continue studying with Gregor Witt at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock. 

Upon graduating, he immediately entered a vacancy at the Brandenburger Symphoniker. Later he played at the Staatsoper Berlin and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester. 

He is a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra since 2014, as well as an instructor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock. Since 2017 he also is a faculty member of the Barenboim-Said Akademie. 

Emmanuel Danan is a reed making specialist as well as an experienced English horn player.
