Roni Mann is the Director of Humanities at the Barenboim-Said Akademie. She designs and oversees the implementation of the Akademie’s liberal arts curriculum, and teaches its core philosophy classes. 

Prior to her work at the Akademie, Roni Mann was a research fellow at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), and taught a range of subjects at Harvard College, including political philosophy, social theory and US constitutional history. Her doctorate dissertation (Harvard Law School, 2011) is an intellectual genealogy of financial regulation. Her research areas lie at the intersection of political, social and legal thought.
